A letter from our founder: the inspiration behind Vestaboard

As we prepare for our largest holiday shipment ever, I want to share why I created Vestaboard and how it has captured the hearts of nearly 15,000 wonderful customers.

In 2012, I was inspired by experiencing the magnificent split-flap display in the Gare du Nord station in Paris, and I dreamed of recreating the magic of thousands of mesmerizing spinning flaps for my children at home.

I wanted to be able to send fun and inspiring messages when I traveled. While it took many years to get started, and more time to design and build, my resolve grew as the world continued to move so fast to all things digital, with too many people staring down at their phones.

Following 5 years of R&D, we finally began shipping to customers in December 2020, and to my surprise one of our first ever paying customers was Jennifer Garner, whose beautiful kitchen with her Vestaboard was just featured by Architectural Digest.
