To compose a new message in the mobile app, tap on the "+" sign at the bottom of the screen.
You can compose messages and update Vestaboard from anywhere using the mobile app or web.vestaboard.com. Each platform offers two compose methods:
- Auto mode -- the app formats your message for you.
- Visual mode -- you dictate placement of every character.
Auto mode opens by default, which is great for quickly composing (or pasting) a message.
Note: If pasting a message does not appear to work, double check that there are not any unsupported special characters included.
If you prefer to have more control over the placement of each character, you can click on the "Visual" option at the top of the screen. Visual mode allows you to have bit-by-bit control over the message. It is especially useful for creating color-based drawings or messages that require a specific alignment. To help you organize your message, you can refer to the gridlines on the board that show the horizontal and vertical middle.
Both modes offer the option to send the composed message immediately or schedule for later.
