Can I use a VESA mount with Vestaboard Note?

Vestaboard Note is compatible with 200mm × 100mm VESA mounting systems, giving you flexibility beyond the included wall plate.

The vertical rails on the back of the Vestaboard Note come pre-attached and are designed to hook onto the included wall plate. However, these rails are removable, allowing you to attach the Note to any compatible 200mm × 100mm VESA mount instead.

Important: Vestaboard Note uses a 200mm × 100mm VESA pattern, which is different from the Flagship Vestaboard's 400mm × 400mm. Make sure you purchase the correct size.

Removing the Vertical Rails

  1. Locate the screws securing the vertical rails to the backplane.
  2. Using the provided allen wrench, carefully remove the screws. Keep them. You'll want to reuse them.
  3. Lift the vertical rails off the backplane.

Attaching a VESA Mount

  1. Align your VESA mount bracket with the mounting holes on the backplane.
  2. We recommend reusing the provided screws from the vertical rails to attach the Note to your VESA mount. Check with the VESA mount manufacturer to confirm compatibility.
  3. If you use screws provided by the VESA mount manufacturer, confirm they match the thread specification. Longer screws risk piercing the backplane and damaging internal components.
  4. Tighten screws by hand. Never use power tools, as over-torquing can damage the backplane.
  5. Ensure the mount bracket sits flush and snug against the backplane.

Use Cases for VESA Mounting

  • Articulating wall arm: Angle and tilt the Note for optimal viewing
  • Desk VESA stand: Elevate the Note on a desk or countertop with a freestanding VESA base
  • Under-cabinet mount: Mount the Note beneath kitchen cabinets for a unique, space-saving display
  • Multi-display installations: Use VESA mounts for precise alignment when grouping multiple Notes

Important Notes

  • Whether you use the included wall plate or a VESA mount, wall installations must be anchored to a wood stud or concrete.
  • The optional wall frame can still be used with a VESA mount, as long as the mount positions the Note flat against the wall.
  • If you plan to use the Note freestanding on a desk, the frameless version can sit on its own without any mount. A VESA desk stand is optional.
