You can customize the notifications you receive in the app by updating your Notification preferences.
Whether you want to receive alerts about new features, firmware updates, or messages from friends, you have complete control over what notifications you receive and how they're delivered. Your Vestaboard notifications work in two ways:
- In-App Notifications: All notifications appear in your Vestaboard app's notification center, keeping you informed when you're actively using the app.
- Push Notifications: Optional alerts sent directly to your device's lock screen for immediate awareness, even when the app isn't open.
To manage the push notifications you receive, start by tapping the Notifications tab in your app. Once you're in the notifications center, tap the three dots in the top right corner to reveal additional options including Preferences: 
Select Preferences to access your Notifications settings where you can customize which types of alerts you'd like to receive as push notifications to your device.
You can choose to receive notifications across several categories:
Product News
- Channel Updates: Information about new channels and updates to existing ones
- Company News: Important announcements and updates from Vestaboard
- New Features: Notifications about new app features and capabilities
System Updates
- Firmware Updates: Alerts when firmware updates are available for your Vestaboard
- Mobile App Updates: Notifications when new app updates are ready to download
- Online Status: Alerts when your Vestaboard goes offline or comes back online
- Scheduling Conflicts: Warnings when multiple channels are scheduled at the same time
Community
- Likes: Notifications when another user likes your message (Coming Soon)
- Messages: Alerts when someone else sends a message to your Vestaboard
- Referrals: Notifications when someone uses your referral code
Account Updates
- Role Changes: Alerts for account changes like new users added, invitations accepted, or role modifications
- Plus Subscription Status: Important updates about your Vestaboard+ subscription, including renewal issues
- Usage Milestones: Celebrations when you reach certain usage thresholds or anniversaries
Each category includes specific notification types that you can individually enable or disable. If you turn off all notifications within a category, the main category toggle will automatically turn off as well.
