Can I use my framed Note on a desk or countertop?

The Note frame is optimized for wall mounting as it offers the most secure experience and minimizes handling, which helps reduce the risk of accidental drops or damage. However, the short answer is yes, the Vestaboard Note can sit on a shelf while in its frame, but it is not our recommended setup and it does require extra care.

The frame is not designed to prevent forward tipping during handling. Because of that, we generally recommend shelf placement only if the Note will stay in the frame and not be removed regularly.

If you do plan to use the frame on a shelf, a few tips to help keep things secure:

• Always support both the frame and the Note when inserting or removing it.

• Avoid removing or re-inserting the Note near hard floors or sharp edges, handle it over a soft surface like a bed, sofa, or rug.

• Do not lift or move the frame while the Note is partially seated.
