How do I wall mount my Vestaboard Note?

Wall mounting your Vestaboard Note with the optional frame creates a polished, elevated presentation similar to the Flagship Vestaboard.

What You'll Need

  • Vestaboard Note with fascia attached
  • Optional wall frame
  • Included wall plate and mounting hardware
  • Power drill and level
  • Stud finder (for drywall installations)
  • Phillips head screwdriver
  • Pencil for marking

Before You Begin

  • Plan your outlet location first. Your power outlet should be located directly behind or just below your Vestaboard Note. For the cleanest look, we recommend a recessed outlet behind the display.
  • Identify your wall type. Vestaboard Note must be mounted into a wood stud or concrete wall. You are responsible for proper installation of the wall plate based on your wall type.
  • Have your power cable ready. Vestaboard Note ships with a 19.7" (50cm) IEC 320 C5 power cable. If your outlet is below the display, you may need the optional 8' (2.5m) cable, available at vestaboard.com/cords.

Step 1: Install the Wall Plate

  • Using a level, mark the desired position on your wall. Secure the included wall plate to the wall, ensuring it is anchored into a wood stud or concrete. Double-check that the plate is level before tightening all screws.

Step 2: Plug In the Power Cable

  • Before mounting the Note to the wall, plug the power cable into the power jack on the back of the unit. Make sure the fascia and protective film are still attached at this stage.

Step 3: Mount the Note to the Wall Plate

  • With the power cable connected, hook the pre-attached vertical rails onto the wall plate. The Note should hang securely in place.

Step 4: Connect to the Wall Outlet

  • If your outlet is behind the display, gently tilt the Note toward you while it remains secured to the wall plate, then plug the power cable into the outlet. Let the Note settle back against the wall.

  • If your outlet is below the display, route the cable downward and plug in.

Step 5: Attach the Wall Frame

  • Carefully place the wall frame over the mounted Note. The frame sits over the fascia and backplane to create a finished, framed presentation.

Step 6: Remove the Protective Film

  • Once everything is securely in place, peel off the protective film from the fascia.

Step 7: Pair Your Note

  • Power on your Vestaboard Note and follow the in-app pairing process.

Important Notes

  • The wall frame is designed for wall mounting only. It is not designed to support shelf or desktop installations.
  • Ensure the fascia is attached to the backplane before mounting to the wall plate.
  • Vestaboard Note with frame weighs 23.4 lbs (10.6 kg). One person can manage the installation, but a second set of hands is helpful.
