What is a Digital Display?

A Digital Display is a virtual version of Vestaboard that runs entirely in your web browser or app without any physical hardware required. A Digital Display lets you:

• Try before you buy: Experience how Vestaboard looks and feels without owning one yet
• Plan ahead: Set up messages and API integrations while your pre-order is on the way
• Preview messages: See exactly how messages will look before sending them to your physical display
• Experiment freely: Test content ideas and design concepts in a safe sandbox environment
• Share your work: Show others what you're creating

How do I create a Digital Display?

1. Open the Vestaboard mobile app or web.vestaboard.com
2. Tap the gear icon to access Settings
3. Select Current Vestaboard
4. Select + Add Vestaboard
5. Select the display type you want (Flagship vs. Note)
6. Select Try digital version
7. Complete the onboarding process

How do I view and share my Digital Display?

Use the Publish section to create live links and embeds that mirror your Digital Display:

1. Open the Vestaboard mobile app or web.vestaboard.com
2. Tap the Settings tab
3. Tap Publish to access mirroring, web embeds, and simulator links

Web embeds let you showcase your Vestaboard content directly on your website or share standalone browser links that mirror your Digital Display in real-time.

Can I pair a Digital Display to a physical Vestaboard?

Yes! When your physical Vestaboard arrives, you can easily connect your Digital Display to it via the mobile app:

1. Tap the gear icon to access Settings
2. Select Current Vestaboard
3. Tap the 3 dots next to the board that shows Digital Display
4. Select Pair
5. Enter the pairing code from your physical Vestaboard and follow the setup steps
